Composition || Capturing Moments

"A composition records a moment, fictitious, imaginative or real, which is experienced by the creator or by third parties."

This moment is not restricted to a formula; it can be all or nothing. It can have form or no form. It can have some meaning or none, a visual appreciation, a narrative appreciation, an appreciation. It can use all the fundamentals or almost none, have the minimum or have the maximum, be simple or complex. Be influenced by interests or by randomness itself.

All these statements and others make up a moment. A lived moment brings certainties amidst uncertainties. When we understand what the moment we are going to represent is, we need to have the techniques, execution and creativity necessary to carry it out in its entirety. Being a composition conveys well what it is, generating a moment that is not associated with another. An image that, from its elements, leaves its own particular visual impression. Illustrating is knowing how to create these remarkable moments. Whether in a single moment or continuing from a sequence of remarkable moments.
